RPR Construction Company was founded in 1983 with a focus and purpose, to provide the best construction service possible and to deliver a completed product that would stand the test of time. RPR also bases its business practices on the principles of honesty and integrity in dealing with our customers and subcontractors.
Don Pinkerton, one of the founding partners in RPR is succeeded by his wife, Pat whose business philosophy mirrors that of Don when he quoted “Since this company’s inception in 1983, RPR has been and remains committed to being the contractor of choice for clients who demand the highest quality, professionalism and competitiveness in the delivery of construction services.”
Pat surrounds herself with a veteran management team possessing decades of industry experience. Skilled professionals from the office to the job site provide RPR’s clients with an assurance that they will work to provide the most cost effective and practical solutions to their building needs.
During the past thirty years, RPR has experienced a steady growth. The RPR team has been responsible for completing hundreds of projects with a varied range of size and complexities. RPR has a proven track record, which consist of hundreds of millions of dollars in successfully completed projects.
Donald R. Pinkerton
In 1983, the late Don Pinkerton had a passion and vision for the construction industry that led to the success of RPR. Don’s experience began in the home building industry and then moved into commercial building working under the tutelage of Don Hill Construction. His 35 years of building experience as project manager, office manager, chief estimator and vice president gave him the background knowledge he needed to build a company that produced strong effective teamwork. From conception to completion, RPR Construction Company, Inc. is one team with a level of commitment that goes beyond the state of excellence.
Pat has always shared Don’s passion and vision for construction and has been involved in the construction industry, as both a homebuilder and an active partner beside Don as Secretary Treasurer and Owner since RPR’s inception in 1983. She is actively engaged in the day-to-day operations and has vast knowledge and years of experience.
President / Project Manager
Donald serves as President of the company as well as an active Project Manager. As Project Manager, he is proficient in all areas of management including estimating, scheduling, buyout and cost control. Donald also handles much of the marketing and sales for the company and his outstanding people skills contribute greatly to his marketing and sales efforts. He has over 15 years of experience in the construction industry and 15 years with RPR Construction Company. Donald is currently serving on the Camp Tyler Executive Board and is actively involved in the community and volunteering his time with the Salvation Army, American Cancer Society of Smith County and the East Texas Food Bank.
Vice President of Administration / Project Manager
As Vice President of Administration and Chief Estimator, Michael oversees the day to day operations of our office and is responsible for coordinating and preparing all estimates. Michael has managed projects of all types and sizes and has over 20 years experience in the construction industry and 17 years with RPR Construction Company.
Vice President of Field Operations / Project Manager
Tim is a graduate of Tyler Jr. College and Texas A&M University with a B.S. Degree in Building Construction. He has a quarter of a century experience in the construction industry managing projects up to $21 million.
He had been actively involved as Sr. Project Manager, estimator, and now serves as Vice President of Field Operations for RPR Construction Company.
